I created a unique, customized, step-by-step process that leads each professional woman to take charge of her life, make lasting positive change, and experience greater joy. Together, we get very clear on what you really want in life…and then map out a plan to make it happen. Here’s what the Positive Change SystemTM gets you to do:
1) Identify what’s working and what’s not
Following extensive pre-work, we’ll start with an objective, big-picture look at what’s working in your life and what’s not. It’s important to begin our journey by capitalizing on what’s already working well. We’ll spend time exploring your strengths and talk about how to take your life from “good”…to “great!” On the flip side, we’ll outline what’s not working – where you’re getting stuck, what’s getting in the way, and what’s missing. In this initial phase, we’ll assess your needs so we know exactly where to focus our time, attention, and energy moving forward.
2) Define what you want
Here, we’ll help you define, clarify, and re-evaluate what matters most. You’ll get clear on what you really want and practice the skills to say “no” to the distractions and the unimportant – so you can say “Yes!” to what really matters. We’ll cover the tools to help you focus on what you can control and discuss tips for staying present. We’ll talk about how to manage your time most effectively and how to balance the myriad of roles you play, personally and professionally. We’ll discuss making YOU a priority. We’ll also have fun exploring what you’re passionate about and what it is that makes you come alive and brings you joy.
3) Let go of the old stuff
Before fully inviting all the exciting new things into your life, we’ve got to take some time to call-out the old habits and patterns holding you back. We’ll take note of the limiting beliefs, self-doubt, and negative self-talk that can sabotage anyone’s progress. Our focus here will be on releasing the old, in service of making space for the new and fresh. Whether it’s emotional clutter in your mind, or physical clutter in your home or office, here’s where we’ll do the work to get you unstuck and equipped for positive change.
4) Create your vision
This step will guide you to hone-in on your unique mission and purpose, or – why you’re here. We’ll go through a series of in-depth exercises to uncover the direction and path that’s most aligned with your true spirit. It’s crucial to understand what your compelling vision is – or your “true north” – to ensure that it is always pulling you forward. This part of the process is all about adding more meaning and purpose to your life…and becoming more of who you already are inside.
5) Customize the action plan
The best way to predict the future is to plan for it. So, here we’ll integrate what you’ve learned about yourself and map out a plan that wonderfully supports the vision you’ve created. You’ll set realistic, meaningful, and purposeful goals which will help you spend your time and energy on what truly matters. We’ll build in concrete, do-able steps – so that you begin to close the gap between where you’ve been…and where you want to be. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to follow-through by taking specific daily action.
6) Kick it into high gear
This is when everything comes together. And the words “authenticity” and “integrity” come into play as you align your purpose, passion, and priorities with your daily actions. This is where we’ll say “Look out world!” as you step out with confidence and shine your light brightly and boldly. We’ll make sure you implement key strategies for excellent self-care as you move forward in your journey. Honing the skills to pay attention to your intuition and inner guidance will be key – it’s your own internal voice that will always support you and keep you focused on your purpose.
7) Maintain focus and stay inspired
In this culmination of our work together, we’ll discuss customized strategies for you to keep things fresh, stay plugged-in, and inspired to keep shining. Especially in the beginning, it’s easy to revert back to old behavior – so you’ll learn how to maintain focus and stay on-track and accountable with your goals and intentions, despite the busyness of life. And we’ll talk about the best ways for you to continue to invest in yourself and always expect the best.

How LifeShine Has Made a Positive Change
“Michelle helps you see clearly. She helps you push aside and sort through all the clutter, until you can deal with the important and necessary aspects of your life. Her coaching is definitely not a ‘one-size-fits-all’ – it’s tailored to where each person is in their life.”
“From the moment I met Michelle, I knew she had something magical to offer. Her positive energy was contagious and gave me hope that I could turn my life around. I committed to six-plus months of coaching, which seemed like I was signing my life away at the time, but little did I know that what I was really signing away was my old life of stress and overwhelm.”

“Like all changes, it didn’t happen overnight. But I did change. As the days went by and our work continued, I found the courage to overcome the guilt I had about work…and most importantly I found me.”
“In our coaching, I really enjoyed how things progressed very organically. Michelle always seemed to have a fitting tool, resource, or technique that matched my need or helped to address an issue. She strikes a good balance between being understanding if I forgot to do something…and reminding me to be accountable to get the most from our coaching sessions.”
“Of course, this is all a work-in-process, but I am so excited about what I have built with Michelle. It’s exactly the strong foundation I was seeking. I can’t wait to see what wonderful things continue to come from my new relationship with myself and to life. Working with Michelle was an invaluable investment in the rest of my life.”
