The LifeShine® Positive Change System

Based on years of research in my work with women, I created the proprietary LifeShine Positive Change System – a process that guides professional women to take charge of their life, make lasting positive change, and experience greater joy.

This proven process is specially tailored to suit each woman’s unique personal and professional needs.

1.

Identify what’s working and what’s not

Following reflective pre-work, we’ll start with an objective, big-picture look at what’s working in your life and what’s not. It’s important to begin the journey by capitalizing on what’s already working well. We’ll spend time exploring your strengths and how to take your life and leadership to the next level. On the flip side, we’ll outline what’s not working – where you’re getting stuck, what’s getting in the way, and what’s missing. In this initial phase, we’ll assess your needs so we know exactly where to focus our time, attention, and energy moving forward.

2.

Define what you (really) want

Here, you’ll begin to define, clarify, and re-evaluate what matters most. You’ll get clear on what you really want and hone the skills to say “no” to the noise and distractions, so you can say “Yes!” to what truly matters. We’ll cover the tools to help you reduce stress, focus on what you can control, and stay present. We’ll assess how to manage your time and energy most effectively, balancing the myriad of roles you play at work and at home. We’ll discuss making YOU a priority and explore what makes you come alive and brings you joy.

3.

Release old patterns to make space for the new way forward

Before inviting the new and good things into your life, we’ve got to take time to call-out the old habits and patterns holding you back. We’ll take note of the limiting beliefs, self-doubt, and negative self-talk that can sabotage anyone’s progress. Our focus here will be on releasing the old, in service of making space for the new and fresh. Whether it’s emotional clutter in your mind, calendar clutter in your schedule, or physical clutter in your home or office, here’s where we’ll do the work to get you unstuck and equipped for positive change.

4.

Craft your vision to support, guide, and inspire you

This step will guide you to call-out your unique mission and purpose, or, why you’re here. We’ll go through a series of exercises to uncover the direction and path that’s most aligned with your true spirit. It’s crucial to understand what your compelling vision is, or your “true north”, to ensure that it is always pulling you forward. It’s your legacy as a leader. This part of the process is all about adding more meaning, purpose, and richness to your life…and becoming more of who you already are inside.

5.

Customize the action plan to lock it in

The best way to predict the future is to plan for it. So, here we’ll integrate what you’ve learned about yourself and map out a plan that supports the personal and professional vision you’ve created. You’ll set realistic, meaningful, and purposeful goals which will help you spend your time and energy on what matters most. We’ll build in concrete, do-able steps so you begin to close the gap between where you are now…and where you want to be. Most importantly, you’ll learn how to follow-through by taking specific and intentional daily action.

6.

Kick it into high gear and shine

This is when everything comes together. Authenticity and integrity come into play as you align your purpose, passion, and priorities with your daily actions. This is where you’ll step out with confidence and shine your light brightly and boldly. We’ll make sure you implement key strategies for mindful self-care as you move forward in your journey. Building the skills to pay attention to your intuition and inner guidance will be key; it’s your own internal voice that will always support you and keep you focused on your purpose.

7.

Maintain focus, stay on-track, and celebrate

In this culmination of our work together, we’ll discuss customized strategies for you to keep things fresh, stay plugged-in, and inspired to keep shining. Especially in the beginning, it’s easy to revert back to old behaviors, so you’ll learn how to maintain focus and stay on-track and accountable with your new goals and intentions, despite the busyness of life. Ultimately, we’ll wrap-up by celebrating your hard work and successes, and highlight the best ways for you to keep moving forward and expect the best.
